Rocky Mountain National Park
THIS SESSION!!!! I am so exited to share these photos with you! Kayleigh and Mitch booked me for their Michigan wedding for 2024. They called one day and said “ I have a crazy idea.”… and then we discussed their dream Colorado Engagement session and tried to figure out if the logistics were possible. Turns out, they totally did! A couple weeks later, I met them out in the mountians and we had the absolute best day! Fall in Rocky Mountain National Park is prime time for a memorable engagement session. Picture this: you and your partner surrounded by stunning mountain views and vibrant autumn colors. It's a backdrop that turns your love story into a visual masterpiece.
For the best shots, plan your visit between mid-September and early October when the aspens light up with golden hues. Take advantage of the soft, warm light during the golden hour for a more romantic vibe. Think comfortable outfits in earthy colors and consider adding some cozy accessories. There are lots of dreamy spots like Bear Lake, Dream Lake, Moraine Park, or Sprague Lake for simple yet stunning backdrops. We started at Boulder Falls for some epic waterfall shots. These were so fun because Kayleigh’s dress matched our baby blue Mustang, so of course we had to take a couple pics with it! Then, we headed to the Rockies and drove along Trail Ridge Road. We just stopped whenever we saw something beautiful, which was a LOT. We ended at Dream Lake for a golden hour/ blue hour portraits at the lake. These are some of my favorites!
Keep it real by choosing a location that speaks to you guys! Your engagement session isn't just about your love story—it's about blending your love for something that is meaningful to you, and combining it with this exciting season of engagement!
Enjoy these photos and let's go take photos somewhere cool and I will meet you there!
